Kathy began her tax career at Ersnt & Whinney in Ft. Lauderdale in 1985.  She moved to Boston to work in the Boston Ernst & Young office in 1989 when her husband began a new job in the Boston area.   Kathy’s tax expertise is very broad.  She has worked on many businesses, and as such, has been exposed to many different types of clients, from individuals, their estates, and their businesses.  Many of Kathy’s clients have been with the firm since its inception, so she has in depth knowledge of their financial situation.  Additionally, Kathy has provided family office services to a group of clients for almost thirty years.

 

When not at work, Kathy spends time working on her hometown’s finance committee and other related town committees.  Kathy also enjoys Bikram yoga and spends much of her spare time gardening and reading.

 

Kathy acquired her original C.P.A. license in Florida and later transferred it to Massachusetts.  She holds a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Accountancy with a concentration in Taxation also from the University of Tennessee.
